1840

Early Beginnings

The seeds of faith were sown with the establishment of the first mission station in the region, serving the small Catholic community.

Chapel Blessed

The first dedicated chapel was constructed and blessed, marking a permanent presence of the Church in Jabalpur.

1873

Old Cathedral Blessed

As the community grew, a larger church was built and blessed, serving as the center of worship for over a century.

1997

Earthquake Damage

The devastating earthquake caused significant structural damage to the historic building, necessitating major restoration.

2002

New Cathedral Blessed

Rising from the ruins, the new Cathedral was consecrated and blessed, symbolizing resilience and renewal.
